DC The New 52 Wave 2: This week DC hits us with three all new titles for it’s New 52. First up, James Robinson and Nicola Scott re-imagine the world of the silver age heroes with Earth 2. Hugo award winning novelist China Miéville re imagines the classic world of Dial H for hero in this dark sci-fi tale Dial H; featuring art by Matrus Santolouco and cover art by Brian Bolland. Get ready to meet the strangest new Superhero to the new DCU.

GI COMBAT #1 reintroduces classic silver age era war comics and gives them a modern twist. Issue one features a visit to the dinosaur infested War that Time Forgot by J.T. Krul and Ariel Olivetti. Justin Gray and Jimmy Palmiotti resurrect the Unknown Solider in the middle of Afghanistan, featuring art by Dan Panosian.

Mind The Gap #1: Image Comics seems to have yet another hit on-going series on their hands! Eisner-winning writer Jim McCann (Return of the Dapper Men) delivers a smart, solid psychological thriller. This should generate some buzz sooner rather than later!

Garfield #1: Kudos to KaBoom! Jim Davis’ lazy, lasagna-loving, Monday-hating Tabby is back. In this new series, Garfield begins his monthly exploits. Join Garfield, Jon, Odie, and the rest of the gang for all-ages fun!
